Ela compara a atividade de um sistema em um determinado per\u00edodo com a atividade de v\u00e1rios outros sistemas e identifica os pontos de dados mais altamente relacionados.  Isso permite que o EDM crie uma visualiza\u00e7\u00e3o intuitiva de eventos relacionados em toda uma rede de tecnologia mista, possibilitando que a an\u00e1lise de causa raiz seja realizada com mais efici\u00eancia do que nunca.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- divi:heading --><\/p>\n<h2>Como funciona:<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/divi:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Quando a correla\u00e7\u00e3o for realizada, o EDM analisar\u00e1 os dados coletados para um \u00fanico sistema em um intervalo de tempo selecionado pelo usu\u00e1rio. Em seguida, ele examina os dados de cada fonte de dados adicional selecionada durante esse intervalo de tempo e usa um algoritmo avan\u00e7ado para identificar eventos correlacionados usando a pontua\u00e7\u00e3o r de Pearson.  Os eventos correlacionados s\u00e3o baseados em uma pontua\u00e7\u00e3o de 1. Quanto mais pr\u00f3xima de 1 for a pontua\u00e7\u00e3o, mais relacionado \u00e9 o evento.  Os pontos de dados altamente correlacionados ajudam os usu\u00e1rios a identificar problemas que podem estar afetando v\u00e1rios sistemas ao mesmo tempo. Podem ser problemas gerais de rede ou um problema originado em um sistema, mas que afeta outros.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>No exemplo abaixo, usamos a Correla\u00e7\u00e3o para isolar a causa principal do alto tempo de resposta de um aplicativo chamado ECIS. Trata-se de um aplicativo baseado na Web em que os usu\u00e1rios inserem transa\u00e7\u00f5es para consultas e atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es. O aplicativo apresenta uma interface de usu\u00e1rio baseada na Web do IIS que tem bancos de dados Oracle e usa webMethods para valida\u00e7\u00e3o de dados.
